Jonatahn is a Research Scientist at the Space Sciences Institute. His observational projects detail characterizing exoplanetary atmospheres and general light curve analyses: include detecting supernovae and exoplanets with Kepler, K2, TESS. He also uses artificial intelligence (e.g. machine & deep learning) to detect anomalies in Hubble and James Webb (future) observations. He uses both machine learning classification, regression, and clustering to identify and mitigate systematic noise sources with Spitzer Space Telescope and James Webb Space Telescope calibration observations.
